Fun Bingo Facts
#1 Bingo sticks are called daubers
Daubers are a specialized type of pen that used to mark bingo cards. When their number is called, a player will use the pen to mark the card. Each pen has a special tip which marks the paper with a circle or other mark.
#2 It used to be called Beano
Before the dauber was invented, bingo players used beans to mark their cards. This is where the name Beano came from.
#3 It’s the most popular game in the world
Over 8% of the world’s population enjoys playing bingo. Most bingo players are women and most online bingo players are between the ages of 35 and 40.
