Gay Gal Pool Crew: April, 5:30-8pm at Buffalo Billiards (1330 19th St NW). Whether you identify as pool shark or a pool seaweed, everyone is welcome! So grab a cue, and your Q’s, and stop by when you can to play some pool! Come to just mingle and drink a few beers, or bust some balls with your favorite queers! There will also be other game bar staples such as shuffleboard and darts, as well as a fully stocked bar w/ light fare. FREE

We’re happy to partner for this event with the LGBTQ staff association at the World Bank. FREE

2018 LGBT Housing Policy Summit, 5pm at Human Rights Campaign (1640 Rhode Island Avenue NW).The NAGLREP LGBT Housing Policy Summit brings together recognized LGBT and allied housing leaders with a mission to affect housing policy as it relates to equality for the LGBT community. Hosted at the HRC Equality Center, the summit offers NAGLREP members and guests the opportunity to advocate to their representatives to write legislation supporting NAGLREP’s key call-to-action. Participants include the Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus, HUD, HRC, NAGLREP Policy Committee, NAR, SAGE, and more. $99

Trapped by Intolerance: LGBT Persons in Guyana, 3:30-5:30pm at Eric E. Hotung International Law Building (600 New Jersey Avenue NW). The Georgetown Law Human Rights Institute is hosting a panel discussion on this year’s Fact-Finding Project on the rights of LGBT persons in Guyana. By addressing the cycles of violence and discrimination that LGBT individuals face in the country, the Fact-Finding team will present their main findings in a structured discussion at the Georgetown University Law Center. Refreshments will be provided. This workshop will address some of the common causes of anxiety, why we all experience such at times, and inteventions to mitigate the impact. FREE
